Sean Bean plays her husband Ian who is managing his marriage to Emma after 30 years of marriage.

He said of his role in the series: “I’m delighted to be playing opposite the talented Nicola Walker and I’m looking forward to bringing Stefan’s intimate writing to the screen.”

The Yorkshire-born actor is best known for his role as Boromir in the Lord of the Rings films.

His other notable film roles include Black Death, The Martian, National Treasure and Patriot Games.

He has won much acclaim for his TV roles such as Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, Father Kerrigan in the BBC series Broken and his BAFTA winning role in the hit BBC series Time.

The 63-year-old is soon to begin the remake of the famous cartoon Knights of the Zodiac, which will be released next year.

James Bolam plays Gerry in Marriage on BBC One

The 87-year-old actor has joined the cast of BBC’s Marriage as Gerry.

Gerry is Emma’s elderly father, who is close to his daughter.

James Bolam MBE is a renowned cinematographer.

One of his most famous roles was as Jack Ford in the BBC war drama When The Boat Comes In – he was nominated twice for a BAFTA for his role in the programme.

You may also see him as Jack Halford in New Tricks, where he starred for 10 years.

Parents may recognize him from the CBBC series Grandpa In My Pocket, in which he starred for over 100 episodes.

She starred in Cold Feet in 2016, but The Wedding is her first major TV role since then!

The 36-year-old actor in Marriage plays Jamie, Emma’s boss.

Henry’s breakout role was Mark Donovan in The Inbetweeners in 2008.

Since then, he has appeared in TV and movie roles!

His notable film roles include Burisov in Anna Karenina and Allen Scott-Frank in Now You See Me 2.

His notable television roles include Ralph Whelan in Indian Summers, Aaron Peel in Killing Eve and Sherlock in The Irregulars.

He starred as DS Nathan Rose in the series Ragdoll last year.

The 26-year-old actress will play Jessica, the daughter of Ian and Emma.

The young actor hasn’t got any TV jobs yet but it looks like marriage could be his big break!

You may recognize her as Abi from the BBC Three series Mood.

She also appeared in the Peacock series We Are Lady Parts.

Jack Holden as Adam in Divorce

The 32-year-old actor plays Adam on the show.

Jack is well known in the film world as a writer and actor, his first play Cruise earned him an Olivier nomination for Best New Play this year.

A movie of the game is being made.

He previously appeared in the Amazon Prime series Ten Percent and guest starred on Channel 4’s Traitors.

The wedding will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday August 14 at 9 pm.
